CRL.M.C. 2212/2016 This is a petition under S. 482 Cr.PC moved by the petitioner for quashing of FIR No.72/2016 registered at Police Station Mandawali Fazalpur, Delhi under Ss. 323/341 IPC and consequent proceedings emanating therefrom on the ground that the parties have compromised the matter.

The FIR in the instant case was registered on the complaint of Smt.Sumitra against the petitioner, who is none else but her own grandson, with the allegations that the petitioner was insisting for the share in the property and thereafter he abused her and gave beatings to her. The offences are under Section 323/341 IPC which are compoundable. As such, appropriate application may be moved before the Trial Court as and when the chargesheet is filed.

There is no ground for quashing of FIR.

The petition is dismissed.
