The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying as under:- "a) Issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ, order or direction quashing and setting aside the show cause notice dated 16.2.2018 as illegal;

b) Issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate writ order or direction directing the respondent no. 2 to grant permission to the petitioner company herein to uplink its channel KNEWS India from the teleport of Planetcast Media Services Ltd;"

The petitioner is, essentially, aggrieved by the cancellation of the permission granted for uplinking the channel "KNEWS INDIA". 3.

Mr Uppal, learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner states that the petitioner has now complied with all the relevant guidelines. 4.

The learned counsel appearing for the respondent submits that the petitioner's application for grant of permission is under consideration and

the decision in this regard would be taken and communicated to the petitioner within a period of two weeks from today. 5.

In view of the above, the learned counsel for the petitioner seeks to withdraw present petition with liberty to approach this Court, if any cause so arises.

The petition and the application are dismissed as withdrawn with the aforesaid liberty.
