W.P.(CRL) 1581/2016 The present petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India prays that the investigation into FIR No. 271/16, under Sections 325/34 IPC, registered at Police Station- Amar Colony, Delhi be transferred from the local police to Crime Branch or any other Investigating Unit so that the proper investigation can take place.

Issue notice.

Ms. Nandita Rao, learned Additional Standing Counsel (Criminal) accepts notice on behalf of the official respondents and on instructions from the Investigating Officer in the subject FIR, namely, SI Sahdev Singh, Police Station- Amar Colony, Delhi, states that the investigation into the subject FIR shall be conducted under the supervision of the DCP, South-East Distt., Delhi, in view of the averments made in the present petition.

Directed accordingly.

With the above directions, the writ petition is allowed and disposed of accordingly.
