% 22.02.2017 The petitioners, who are father and daughter, have preferred this petition to seek a direction to the police to provide them protection from respondent Nos. 2 and 3, who are the sons of the petitioner No.1. According to the petitioners, respondent Nos. 2 and 3 are inimical towards them since they are eyeing the property of petitioner No.1. Counsel for respondent No.2 is present who states that respondent No.2 has never issued any threats of any coercion to the petitioners and undertakes on behalf of respondent No.2 that no such threats shall be issued or any harm shall be caused to the petitioners by respondent No.2.

So far as respondent No.3 is concerned, he is absconding and not found at the given address. However, in terms of the order dated 08.07.2016, the petitioners have been provided protection by the police. In these circumstances, the petition is disposed of with a direction to the State that adequate protection shall continue to be provided to the petitioner in terms of the order dated 08.07.2016 from any harm that may be caused by respondent No.2 or 3 in future.

The petition stands disposed of.
