O R D E R

% 14.09.2016 The matter is taken up today since 13.09.2016 was declared a holiday. Although the respondents have been served, none appears for the respondents.

These are applications filed under Section 9 of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (the Act). The petitioner states that a Sole Arbitrator has been appointed for adjudicating the disputes between the parties. In the circumstances, it is directed that the Arbitrator will consider the present applications filed under Section 9 of the Act as applications under Section 17 of the Act and pass an appropriate orders in accordance with law. The ad interim order passed on 20.05.2016 shall continue to be operative till the disposal of the applications by the Sole Arbitrator. The petitioner shall file a copy of the petition as well as the orders passed by the Sole Arbitrator within a period of two weeks from today.

The petitions are disposed of with the aforesaid directions VIBHU BAKHRU, J SEPTEMBER 14, 2016 MK
