% 19.08.2016 Counsel for the respondents submits that refund of `54,61,665/- claimed by the petitioner has been processed. It is stated at the same time that though refund orders have been made while calculating the refund amount the respondents have not credited the interest. Learned counsel upon instructions submits that interests are to be calculated and credited in accordance with law within reasonable time.

Direction is issued to the respondent to ensure that interest on the amounts claimed - and for which refund orders have been made are paid to the petitioner within six weeks from today.
