The petitioner has filed the present petition under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (hereafter 'the Act'), inter alia, praying that the time for making the award be extended by a further period of one year from 09.06.2018.

The learned counsel appearing for the respondent also joins the petitioner in making the said request. The learned counsel appearing for the parties state that the arbitral proceedings are at the stage of recoding of evidence.

In view of the above, the petition is allowed and the time for making the arbitral award is extended by a further period of one year from

09.06.2018.

The petition is disposed of in the above terms. 6.
