Hearing has been conducted through Video Conferencing. 2.

Present contempt petition was filed by the Petitioner alleging noncompliance of the order dated 22.05.2014 passed by the Court of Principal Judge (South-East), Family Courts, Saket, whereby Court had granted a sum of Rs.26,000/- p.m. to the Petitioner towards interim maintenance. During the pendency of the hearing, parties had consented to approach Samadhan for mediation, to work out the amount of arrears payable by the Respondent upto 31st January, 2020. A settlement agreement dated 06.02.2020 was thereafter drawn out between the parties wherein it was agreed that a sum of Rs. 4,92,312/- would be paid by the Respondent, towards arrears, upto 31.01.2020.

On the last date of hearing this Court had directed the Respondent to clear the outstanding amount of Rs.4,92,312/- during the course of the day.

It is admitted by Mr. Singh that the said amount has been received by the Petitioner.

In view of the above, arrears towards the payment of maintenance in terms of the order of the Principal Judge stand cleared up to 31.01.2020. 5.

Nothing further survives in the present contempt petition. The contempt petition along with the applications, is accordingly disposed of. 5.

Needless to state, Petitioner is at liberty to resort to appropriate proceedings available to her in law for recovery of the arrears of maintenance from 01.02.2020 till date and/or resort to any contempt proceedings in case the need so arises, in accordance with law.
