The petitioner has filed the present petition under Section 29A of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 (hereafter 'the Act'), inter alia, praying that the time for making the award be extended by a further period one year from 19.06.2018.

The learned counsel for the respondent also joins the petitioner in making the said request. The learned counsel for the parties state that the arbitral proceedings are at the stage of final arguments, which are to commence shortly.

In view of the above, the application is allowed and the time for making the arbitral award is extended by a further period of one year from 19.06.2018.

The application is disposed of.
