% 06.02.2019 The petitioner seeks protection against harm to him from respondent no. 2 as well as a direction for fair investigation into his complaint dated 26.06.2017 registered with Police Station Roop Nagar. Mr. Kundu, the learned counsel for the State submits that a closure report has been filed before the Trial Court because the allegations made against the respondent were found to be false and an FIR was not yet registered. It was only a DD entry bearing No. 54B dated 26.06.2017. In view of the above, the petition is not pressed any further at this stage. Liberty is granted to the petitioner to pursue his remedies in law, as may be.
