% 18.07.2018 Crl. M.A. 12760/2018 (exemption) Allowed, subject to all just exceptions. Application is disposed of. CRL.M.C. 3509/2018 Notice. Learned APP accepts notice for respondent no.1. Respondent no.2 is also present in Court along with her counsel, who accepts notice. She has been identified by Mr.Bhure Singh of police station I.P. Extension. It is submitted that petitioner no. 1 (husband) and respondent no. 2 (wife) have started living together for the last one year after settling their disputes amicably before the Delhi Mediation Centre, Tis Hazari Courts, Delhi on 17.07.2017.

Respondent no.2 says that she has no objection in

case FIR No. 520/2015 under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC registered at police station I.P. Extension and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed against the petitioners.

Keeping in mind that husband and wife have started living together after resolving their differences, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice FIR No. 520/2015 under Sections 498A/406/34 IPC registered at police station I.P. Extension and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms. Miscellaneous application is disposed of as infructuous. Dasti.
