% 01.08.2018 The present petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeks expeditious action, in accordance with the provisions of Delhi Municipal Corporation Act, 1957, against the commercial establishments operating within basements, in residential areas. Notice.

Ms. Biji Rajesh, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of respondent Nos.1 and 2. Mr. Mayank Bamanyal, Advocate accepts notice on behalf of respondent No.4.

Ms. Rajesh, learned counsel appearing on behalf of South Delhi Municipal Corporation states that they shall take appropriate action expeditiously, in accordance with law, against the misuser of residential premises, under intimation to the petitioner. W.P.(C) 8005/2018
