O R D E R

% 11.07.2016 The petitioner seeks parole for a period of three months for filing Special Leave Petition in the Supreme Court against the judgment dated 21.8.2014 passed by this Court in Crl. Appeal No. 825/2014 and to arrange for finances.

The petitioner was convicted under Section 302 IPC in Case FIR No.166/12 registered at Police Station Jagatpuri. The petitioner was sentenced to life imprisonment with a fine of Rs.5000/- and in default of fine rigorous imprisonment for one year.

On 21.08.2014, criminal appeal of the petitioner was dismissed by this Court. The nominal roll placed on record shows that the petitioner has undergone incarceration for a period of four years and five days as on

11.5.2016. He has been working as a Sahayak and his work has been found to be satisfactory.

The status report is on record which shows that the address furnished by the petitioner was not found to be correct. His correct residential address has been verified. Under these circumstances, the grant of parole is not opposed by the State.

Accordingly, the petitioner is granted parole for a period of four weeks.

The petitioner shall surrender before the Jail Superintendent on or before the date of expiry of period of four weeks from the date of his release. The petitioner shall furnish his bail bond with one surety in the sum of Rs.10,000/- to the satisfaction of the Jail Superintendent. The petitioner shall furnish proof of filing of the Special Leave Petition to the Jail Superintendent. The petitioner shall report at the local police station on every Monday at 11 a.m.. The petitioner shall not leave the limits of NCT of Delhi during this period.

A copy of this order be communicated to the Jail Superintendent. The petition stands disposed of.
