% 27.05.2016 The prayer seeking a direction to the Competent Authority for parole is devoid of merits at this stage, inasmuch as, the petitioner has been released on furlough for a total of five weeks in this calendar year itself. The petition is accordingly dismissed, whilst reserving liberty to the petitioner to make a representation for parole before the Competent Authority at an appropriate stage.
