CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE A.K. PATHAK
O R D E R
% 27.03.2017 It is submitted that petitioners and respondent no. 2 have settled their disputes amicably vide a Compromise Deed dated 29th November, 2016; therefore, FIR No. 482/2014 under Sections 323/451/506/34 IPC registered at Police Station Jait Pur, on the complaint of respondent no. 2, may be quashed. Respondent no. 2 is present in Court along with her counsel and has been identified by SI Rajiv Kumar, P.S. Jait Put. She submits that she has settled the matter with petitioners of her own free will and without any undue force, coercion and pressure. She further submits that she is not willing to pursue the FIR any further.
Keeping in mind the fact that petitioners and respondent no. 2 have
settled their disputes amicably and that respondent no. 2 is not willing to pursue the FIR any further, no fruitful purpose would be served to keep them entangled in the criminal proceedings. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 482/2014 under Sections 323/451/506/34 IPC registered at Police Station Jait Pur and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
