% 10.04.2019 CM. No. 14503/2019 (for extension of time) This is an application filed by the applicant / appellant seeking extension of time to comply with the order dated August 3, 2018. Suffice it would be to state that the said order reads as under: "1.

After arguments this appeal is disposed of with the consent order that the impugned judgment will stand but the rate of interest granted by the trial court at 12% per annum will be reduced to 71⁄2 % per annum simple. It is also agreed that the amount payable in terms of the impugned judgment and as modified by today's order will be paid by the appellant to the respondent on or before 31.3.2019, making it clear that in case the amount as per the impugned judgment as modified by today's order is not paid on or before 31.3.2019, then the benefit of reduction of the rate of interest granted to the appellant would stand withdrawn.

2.

The appeal is accordingly disposed of in terms of the aforesaid consent order."

Perusal of the order would reveal that if the amount is not paid on or before March 31, 2019, the interest shall be 12%. If that be so, I am afraid the request of the petitioner in this application for extension of time cannot be acceded to.

The application is dismissed.
