1. Subsequent to filing of the present writ petition, a Show Cause Notice („SCN‟) was issued to the Petitioner on 15th June, 2016 under Section 28 read with Section 124 of the Customs Act, 1962. The Petitioner had filed a writ petition being W.P.(C) No. 8033/2016 challenging the said SCN which was dismissed by this Court on 9th September, 2016.

2. Consequently, the present writ petition filed by the Petitioner at the stage W.P.(C) 4750/2016

prior to issuance of such SCN has been rendered infructuous and is disposed of as such.
