W. P. (Crl.) 1846/2018 The present writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 Cr.PC for issuance of appropriate writs and direction to respondents No. 1 to 3 to protection to her life from respondents No. 4 to 6.

Learned APP for the State appears on an advance notice. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is a widow and residing in a rented accommodation with her four children; that petitioner

had friendly relations with one Sikandar which was not acceptable to his father/respondent No. 4; that respondent No. 4/father of the petitioner continuously pressurized her to lodge a false FIR against Sikandar to which she refused; that there is every apprehension that respondents No. 4 to 6 may harm the petitioner and her children.

Heard.

Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the present case, the petitioner is granted police protection from respondent Nos. 4 to 6 at the address i.e. Gali No. 6, Ankur Enclave, Karawal Nagar, Delhi-110094. Learned counsel appearing for the State submits that the concerned SHO and beat constable shall be apprised of the present scenario. The mobile numbers of the concerned SHO as well as of the beat constable shall be provided to the petitioner who will be free to contact them in case of any urgency, if it so occurs and they will provide adequate protection to the petitioner. With the above directions, the present petition stands disposed of. Order dasti under the signatures of the Court Master. Crl. M. A. 11386/2018 (Interim Police Protection) In view of the order passed in the writ petition, the present application is rendered infructuous.
