versus THE STATE & ANR ..... Respondents Through:

Dr. M.P. Singh, APP for State with Insp. O.P. Mandal, P.S. Ranjit Nagar.

CORAM:

HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE A.K. PATHAK

O R D E R

% 17.12.2018 Respondent no.2-Ms. Kiran is present in Court and has been identified by Insp. O.P. Mandal of police station Ranjit Nagar. She submits that she has settled the matter with petitioners of her own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. She has no objection in case FIR No. 140/2014 under Sections 323/341/354A/354D/506/34 IPC registered at police station Ranjit Nagar and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Keeping in mind the settlement arrived at between the petitioners and respondent no.2 voluntarily, in my view, no fruitful purpose would be served in keeping the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, aforesaid FIR and the consequent proceedings emanating

therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
