Notice. Learned Additional Standing Counsel for the State accepts notice.

By this petition, the petitioner seeks parole for a period of 3 months to enable him to maintain social ties and to look after his family members. 3.

A perusal of the nominal roll reveals that the petitioner had been convicted for offence punishable under Section 304 Part II IPC and awarded rigorous imprisonment for a period of 7 years. Further the nominal roll reflects that as on 15th May, 2018, the remaining sentence of the petitioner was 2 months and 22 days if fine was paid. Thus, the remaining sentence of the petitioner as on date is approximately just over a month. Considering W.P.(CRL) 1903/2018

that the sentence of the petitioner is going to conclude shortly, this Court finds no ground to grant parole to the petitioner and finds no ground to interfere with the order dated 8th May, 2018 which noted that the petitioner was involved in other cases as well.
