Mr. G. M. Farooqui, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor accepts notice for the State.
The petitioner seeks bail in FIR No.55/2016 registered under sections 489-B/489-C/34 IPC with Police Station Special Cell. He has been accused of running a syndicate for fake currency alongwith his co-accused Neetu @ Radha. His co-accused, who was charged with equal complicity in the offence, has already been granted bail as of 12.01.2017; all the evidence has been recorded except for that of two police officials; the petitioner is in custody since 02.10.2016; the petitioner is stated to have two minor children and a wife to take care of alongwith his aged parents. In view of the fact that his co-accused has already been released on bail over an year and a half ago and all the material evidence has already
been recorded, the Court grants bail to the petitioner on his furnishing a personal bond in the sum of Rs.25,000/- with one surety of the like amount to the satisfaction of the Trial Court concerned, subject to the following conditions:- (i) the petitioner will regularly appear on each and every date of hearing to be fixed by the Trial Court concerned;
(ii) the petitioner will not leave the country without prior permission of the Court and the passport, if any, shall be deposited with the Trial Court concerned; and (iv) the petitioner will duly intimate her new address and contact number to the SHO/IO of the case (in case of change) under intimation to the Trial Court concerned.
The petition stands disposed off in the above terms. Nothing stated in this order shall be deemed to be an adjudication on the merits of the case.
A copy of this order be given dasti to the learned counsel for the parties under the signature of the Court Master. NAJMI WAZIRI, J.
