This is an application under Section 439 Cr.P.C. seeking extension of interim bail granted vide order dated 21.05.2018 in case FIR No.148/2015 for the offences punishable under Sections 20/25/29 NDPS Act registered at police station Crime Branch.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the wife of the petitioner has undergone a major surgery for which she has been advised complete bed rest. The petitioner has two small children to look after and therefore his presence is required.

Status report has been filed by the IO wherein it has been stated that the statements of Sh.Pankaj Kumar and Sh. Hari Om were recorded to which they stated that they know the petitioner for long time. They further stated that the petitioner has two brothers and one sister who all are married and they reside in separate houses and the petitioner has two sons, aged 8 years and 7 years, and one daughter, aged 5 years and his wife Sheetal was

recently operated for Spine problem in MMG, Hospital Ghaziabad, U.P. 4.

Matter is listed today for verification of medical papers of the wife of the petitioner.

It is submitted by the APP for State that during investigation the Discharge summary of wife of the petitioner was got verified from the Dr. Ravinder Singh, Specialist Orthopedic, District MMG Hospital, Ghaziabad, U.P.

Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the case, interim bail granted to the petitioner is further extended for 10 days subject to the conditions contained in order dated 21.05.2018. 7.

The petitioner shall surrender before the Jail Superintendent on 23rd June, 2018 before 12.00 pm.

The application stands disposed of in the above terms. 9.
