This is an appeal preferred by the appellant against his conviction under Section 356/376 IPC, as well as, against the order on sentence. 2.

Mr. Taran Srivastava, learned APP appearing on behalf of the State submits that the appellant namely Mr. Varun Kumar, S/o Raghunath Manjhi has expired on 21.01.2024. He has handed over the status report verifying the factum of death as well as verified death certificate of the appellant across the bar, the same is taken on the record. 3.

Perusal of the status report and the death certificate makes it evident that the appellant Mr. Varun Kumar, S/o Raghunath Manjhi expired on 21.01.2024.

In that view of the matter, the present appeal stands abated and is disposed of as such.
