O R D E R

% 28.03.2017 After some hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the questions urged should be kept for arguments and due consideration by the Commissioner of Customs who is the adjudicating authority.

He further requests that the adjudicating authority be directed to conclude the proceedings expeditiously. In the given circumstances the Court is of the opinion that the concerned Commissioner of Customs should hear and conclude the proceedings and render findings on the questions expeditiously and preferably within four months from today.

In the meanwhile the petitioner shall be afforded two weeks' time to file a reply which shall be considered on merits and not rejected on the ground of limitation.
