Bail Appln. No. 1442/2018 (Extension of interm bail) This is an application under Section 482 Cr.PC read with Section 439 Cr.PC seeking extension of interim bail in case FIR No. 303/2014 under Sections 302/307/120-B/34 IPC and Section 25/27 of the Arms Act registered at Police Station - Subzi Mandi.

Learned counsel for the applicant submits that vide order dated 06.06.2018, the Trial Court granted interim bail to the applicant for six days and the applicant was released on 08.06.2018 on medical ground of his son. On 11.06.2018, the applicant went to Panipat, Haryana to complete the 'Mannat' in a Dargah/Shrine and while they were was returning from

Haryana on a motorcycle, his wife and cousin brother met with an accident and got severe injuries. The wife of the applicant was admitted to Apex Hospital, Panipat and her foot got plastered. Learned counsel further submits that the applicant was unaware that he had to appear before the Duty Officer/Investigating Officer in the police station and this fact only came to his notice in the evening of 14.06.2018.

Learned APP for the State enters appearance on an advance notice and vehemently opposed the bail application.

Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the present case, the period of interim bail is extended till 17.06.2018 subject to the conditions contained in the order dated 06.06.2018 passed by the Trial Court and the applicant shall surrender before the concerned Jail Superintendent on 18.06.2018 before 2:00 p.m.
