% 16.08.2017 Matter has been taken up today as 14th August, 2017 was declared holiday.

It is submitted that petitioner and respondent no.2 have settled their disputes amicably before Delhi Mediation Centre, Rohini Courts vide Settlement/Agreement dated 27th January, 2016, therefore, FIR No. 268/2009 under Sections 324/34 IPC registered at police station Maurya Enclave on the complaint of respondent no.2 may be quashed.

Respondent no.2/complainant is present in Court along with his

counsel and has been identified by SI Sandeep Srivastava, PS Maurya Enclave, inasmuch as, he has produced his original Adhaar Card, photocopy whereof has already been placed on record at page 40. Respondent no.2 admits having settled the matter with the petitioner out of his own free will and without any undue force, pressure or coercion and submits that he is not willing to purse the FIR any further and has no objection in case the same is quashed. Keeping in view of the fact that settlement has been arrived at between the petitioner and respondent no.2/complainant, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 268/2009 under Sections 324/34 IPC registered at police station Maurya Enclave and consequent proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

Petition is disposed of in the above terms.
