By way of this writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 of Cr.P.C., petitioner is praying for grant of parole for a period of three months on the ground of looking after his old mother suffering from various old age ailments and also for reconnecting social ties with the family & society.

Notice. Mr. Sanjay Lao, A.S.C. for the State while accepting notice submits that the representation made by the Petitioner to the Govt. of NCT of Delhi seeking parole on the same ground, is still pending. 3.
In the given circumstances, the Govt. of NCT of Delhi is directed to dispose of the application/representation of the petitioner within ten days from the date of receipt of this order. It is also directed that order shall also be communicated to the Petitioner through Jail Superintendent. 4.
The writ petition stands disposed of with above directions. Copy of the order be given dasti to learned counsel for the parties. PRATIBHA RANI, J.
