Thus no leave to appeal is required to be sought by the petitioner in terms of the decision of the Supreme Court reported as 2018 SCC online 1941 Mallikarjun Kodagali Vs. State Of Karnataka. The present leave to appeal petition be treated as a criminal appeal. CRL.A._______/2019 (Registry to re-number the CRL.L.P.) Learned counsel for the appellant has taken this Court through the statement of the prosecutrix PW-4.
