The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that direction be issued to respondents to set up a committee of Engineers to inspect the property bearing no.192/X, Chatta Lal Mian, Dariyaganj, Delhi110002. The grievance of the petitioner is that the building in question is more than 73 years old and according to the petitioner, is not safe for inhabitation. It is averred that the petitioner is unable to repair/ reconstruct the building because of non-cooperation from respondent no.2 who resides on the ground floor of the premises in question. 3.

Issue notice. The learned counsel for the respondent accepts notice.

Since the prayer of the petitioner is limited for a direction to respondents to inspect the premises and take necessary action in law, this Court does not consider it necessary to grant any time to the respondents to file an affidavit. The respondent no.1 shall cause the premises in question to be inspected and if the premises are found to be unsafe as alleged, respondent no.1 shall take such steps as necessary and in accordance with law.
