By this petition the petitioner seeks bail in case FIR No.288/2018 under Section 376 IPC registered at PS Nihal Vihar. In the written complaint given by the prosecutrix, she alleged that she was in a live-in relationship with the petitioner since 2014 since he promised to marry her but whenever the complainant asked him to marry, he would refuse. He finally refused to marry her and left her house in the month of February, 2018. According to the prosecutrix she became pregnant four times however, the pregnancy was aborted every time. 2.

Statement of the prosecutrix was recorded under Section 164 Cr.P.C, wherein she reiterated the allegations made in the complaint and also stated that in case the petitioner was not willing to marry her, he be sent to jail. BAIL APPLN. 1466/2018

Petitioner is in custody since 3rd June, 2018. 4.

Learned APP for the State states that investigation is almost complete and charge-sheet is likely to be filed within two weeks. 5.

Considering the nature of allegations and that the petitioner has been in custody now for nearly two months, this Court deems it fit to grant bail to the petitioner. It is, therefore, directed that the petitioner be released on bail on his furnishing personal bond in the sum of ₹25,000/- with one surety to the like amount subject to the satisfaction of the learned Trial Court, further subject to the condition that the petitioner will not leave the country without prior permission of the court concerned and in case of change of residential address, will inform the Court concerned by way of an affidavit. 6.

Petition is disposed of.
