% 24.05.2016 Present writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to respondents to make correction with respect to petitioner‟s wife‟s name i.e. FAKIHA KHAN instead of KIRAN KHAN in his daughter‟s Grade sheet-cum-Certificate of Performance of Secondary School Examination as well as in their official records. It has been averred in the petition that in 2015, petitioner‟s daughter passed her Secondary School Examination and the GradeSheet mentions her mother‟s name as KIRAN KHAN which is her nickname instead of her real name i.e. FAKIHA KHAN. Learned counsel for petitioner states that petitioner made a representation dated 5th April, 2016 to respondent No.2-School for making necessary correction in his daughter‟s Class 10th Grade-Sheet and vide letter dated 6th April, 2016, respondent No.2-School forwarded the same to respondent No.1-CBSE, but no action has been

taken till date.

Consequently, the present writ petition and the application are disposed of with a direction to respondent No.1-CBSE to decide the petitioner‟s application dated 5th April, 2016 as forwarded by respondent No.2-School vide letter dated 6th April, 2016, within a period of four weeks.
