% 08.08.2016 The petition has been filed by the petitioner to seek the quashing of FIR No.

757/2015 dated 09.04.2015 registered under Sections 356/379/509/506/323/341/34 IPC at police station Shakarpur, East Delhi, and the proceedings emanating therefrom. The petition is premised on a compromise arrived at with the respondents who are respondent Nos. 2 and 3 herein. A copy of the settlement dated 16.04.2015 has also been placed on record. As per the status report, respondent No.3 received grievous injuries in the incident. The respondents, who are present in Court, with their counsel are identified by ASI Brij Bhan. Respondent Nos. 2 and 3 state that they do not wish to pursue their complaint any further since they have settled their disputes with the petitioners. They state that the parties are

residing in the same area.

Considering the fact that the respondents do not wish to pursue the complainant against the petitioners and the petitioners have expressed regret over the incident, subject to deposit of Rs. 25,000/- as costs, the FIR in question and the proceedings arising therefrom are quashed as no useful purpose would be served in continuing with the proceedings any further. The petitioners have also been cautioned to maintain good conduct and not indulge in such activities in future. Costs be paid to the Prime Minister's National Relief Fund within two weeks and the receipt of the same shall be provided to the Investigating Officer.

The petition stands disposed of.
