% 29.03.2017 Petitioner is aggrieved by the illegal and unauthorized construction which as per him has been carried out in the properties i.e. property nos.1534, 1535, 1550, 1551, Old Chandrawal Road, Delhi. It is stated that this is against all the bye-laws of the Corporation.
On advance notice, learned counsel for respondent/North DMC has put in appearance. She has oral instructions to make submissions. Her submission is that the property bearing No.1534 is old and occupied. Qua property bearing No.1535 a demolition order had been passed on 24.01.2017 and in fact a demolition programme
had been fixed for 23.3.2017 but the same could not be effected in the absence of the police force. Qua the other two properties i.e. the property bearing No.1550-1551 a show cause notice had also been issued by the Department on 27.3.2017. All actions which have been initiated against the aforenoted properties shall be completed and taken to its ultimate goal. This statement of respondent no.2/SDMC is taken on record. It is hoped and expected that this statement shall be honoured in true letter and spirit. Necessary police assistance will be obtained by respondent no.2 as and when required. No further orders are called for in this petition.
