CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE SURESH KUMAR KAIT
O R D E R
% 09.01.2019 The main prayer in the present petition is to direct the respondent No. 1 to issue directive to all schools whether aided or non-aided to treat B.A.B.ED/B.SC.B.ED four year degree course as requisite qualification for the post of TGT/PGT.
In order dated 29.06.2018 passed by this Court it was recorded that on 25.06.2018, learned counsel for the respondent No. 1 had requested and was granted time to get instructions. On 29.06.2018, the said counsel ensured
that the aforesaid qualification would be duly included as a requisite criterion for appointment as TGT/PGT in the future Selection Process and he conceded that the similar interim directions has been issued by the Central Administrative Tribunal, Principal Bench, New Delhi. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent No. 1 submits that to comply with the aforesaid directions, six months time may be granted. Keeping in view the prayer of the present petition and the issue raised, I hereby dispose of the present petition directing the respondent No. 1 to include B.A.B.ED/B.SC.B.ED as criterion for appointment as TGT/PGT in the future Selection Process.
The said process shall be completed within three months from the receipt of this order.
Meanwhile, the petitioner shall not be restrained to apply for the post of TGT/PGT and he will not be debarred on the ground that B.A.B.ED/B.SC.B.ED integrated course is not included in the qualification required for the said post.
In view of the above, the petition is accordingly, disposed of. SURESH KUMAR KAIT, J JANUARY 09, 2019 rd
