% 05.07.2018 Respondent no. 2 Kamran Ahmed is present in Court along with his counsel and has been identified by SI Shamsher Singh of police station Jaitpur. Respondent no. 2 submits that he has now settled the matter with the petitioners, vide a Memorandum of Understanding dated 23rd May, 2018 of his own free will, voluntarily and without any undue force, pressure or coercion. Respondent no. 2 further submits that he has no objection in case FIR No. 240/2018 under Sections 420/448/506/34 IPC registered at Police Station Jaitpur, which is at the investigation stage, is quashed. Disputes arose between the petitioners and respondent no. 2 in respect of an

immovable property bearing no. S-1, Sorabh Vihar, Hari Nagar Extension, Badarpur, New Delhi.

Keeping in view the settlement arrived at between the petitioners and respondent no. 2 voluntarily, no purpose would be served to keep the criminal proceedings pending. Accordingly, in the interest of justice, FIR No. 240/2018 under Sections 420/448/506/34 IPC registered at Police Station Jaitpur, which is at the investigation stage, is quashed.
