The petitioner has challenged the order dated 5th August, 2016 passed by the Controlling Authority and orders dated 15th February, 2017 and 14th March, 2017 passed by the Appellate Authority under the Payment of Gratuity Act, 1972 holding the respondent entitled to receive the gratuity amount of Rs.8,14,078/- along with interest thereon from the petitioner. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has no claim in respect of the gratuity amount of the respondent and the petitioner was withholding the gratuity amount in view of the attachment order dated 19th July, 2012 passed by the Assistant Collector GR-I, Cooperative Societies, Delhi Government with respect to the claim of Delhi Nagrik Sehkari Bank Limited. Learned counsel of the petitioner further submits that the petitioner has already deposited the gratuity amount in terms of the impugned order with the Deputy Chief Labour Commissioner as back as on 4th October, 2016. 3.

This Court is of the view that no interference is warranted in the order of the Controlling Authority as well as the Appellate Tribunal. 4.

The writ petition is, therefore, dismissed. The pending applications are also dismissed.
