Status report has been handed over in the court, which is taken on the record.

The petitioner seeks extension of Parole granted by order dated 11.06.2018. By this order, this Court had directed the petitioner to be released on parole for a period of two weeks on the same terms and conditions as contained in the order dated 27.04.2018 passed by the Deputy Secretary (Home) keeping in view the fact that the wife of the petitioner had given birth on 27.05.2018 to a baby girl and the baby is suffering from multiple skin lesion hepatomegaly suspecting

congenital intrauterine infection. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the wife of the petitioner namely Pooja is also suffering from Pancreatitis.

Learned ASC submits that the medical papers of the baby have been verified and she is suffering from the said skin disease and is under treatment in the OPD. However, the medical papers of the wife of the petitioner could not be verified.

It is noted in the order dated 11.06.2018 that the petitioner is undergoing rigorous imprisonment for life with fine under Section 302/364 of IPC in FIR No. 452/2003, PS Paharganj, Delhi and has already undergone 12 years 9 months 7 days of incarceration and also earned remission of 01 year 06 months and 02 days as on 10.06.2018. However, the conduct of the petitioner in the jail was found unsatisfactory.

In the circumstances, keeping in view the serious medical problem of the newly born baby, the parole granted to the petitioner by order dated 27.04.2018 by the order of the Deputy Secretary (Home) and extended on 11.06.2018 is hereby further extended on the same terms and conditions as mentioned in the order dated 27.04.2018 for a period of two months.

The petition stands disposed of accordingly.
