On 27.06.2018, the Vacation Bench had recorded the statement of the counsel for the respondents that the petitioner may meet the concerned IG on 29.06.2018, for ventilating her grievance with regard to her posting order and she will be given a personal hearing and the matter was adjourned for today.

Today, learned counsel for the respondents states that the petitioner had met the IG (Personnel) on 29.06.2018 and after considering her case, her request for cancellation of her posting to Lucknow has been turned down. A copy of the order dated 04.07.2018, is handed over and taken on record. Learned counsel states that in the present case, the petitioner has remained posted at Delhi [88 (Mahila) Battalion] for almost 10 years and equal opportunities have to be provided to other Mahila personnel posted in field units. We are informed that the petitioner has already joined her place of posting.

In the given facts of the case, we see no reason to interfere with the decision taken by the respondents to post the petitioner out of Delhi. 4.

The present petition is dismissed.
