BAIL APPLN. 1488/2018 The petitioner by this application seeks extension of his interim bail for a period of 6 weeks.

By an order dated 31.05.2018, the petitioner was granted interim bail for a period of two weeks in order to enable him to attend his wife who was to undergo a surgery at District MMG Hospital on 08.06.2018. It was extended by this court on 15.06.2018 for 10 days. The interim bail is going to expire on 28.06.2018.

It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the

surgery was conducted on the spinal cord of the wife of the petitioner on 14.06.2018 and she was discharged on 18.06.2018. He submits that there is no one in the family to look after the wife of the petitioner since it was an inter religion marriage and no family member of the petitioner is residing there. He further submits that the petitioner has two minor children aged about 3 and 6 years. In the facts and circumstances of the case when there is no one in the family to look after the wife of the petitioner and she is yet to recover after surgery, the interim bail granted by this court on 31.05.2018 and extended on 15.06.2018 is further extended for 3 weeks subject to the same terms and conditions. The bail application stands disposed of.
