The present petition has been filed by the petitioner praying inter alia for issuing directions to the respondent-ITBP to relieve him for undertaking a PG Course at the Army R & R Hospital, New Delhi, in respect whereof the last date of joining is 31st May, 2016. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the batch of students in respect of the PG Course have already commenced their studies from 20th May, 2016 and though the petitioner had applied to the W.P.(C) 4800/2016

respondents well in time for sanction of his study leave, they have not taken any decision on his request so far. He submits that after waiting for a reasonable time, the petitioner had submitted a representation dated 16th May, 2016 to the respondents with a request that he be relieved forthwith to enable him to proceed on study leave, but till date, no response has been received from the said respondent. Hence, the present petition. 3.

A copy of the representation dated 16th May, 2016, referred to by the petitioner in para 21 of the petition, is not enclosed with the petition. 4.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the same is available with him and he shall hand over a copy thereof to learned counsel for the respondents during the course of the day. 5.

Having regard to the limited relief prayed for by the petitioner, it is deemed appropriate to dispose of the present petition with directions issued to the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 16th May, 2016, for granting him study leave to enable him to participate in the PG Course at the Army R & R Hospital, New Delhi, within one week from today, under written intimation to him.
