This appeal is disposed of with the consent order that the respondent/defendant will pay to the appellant/plaintiff a sum of Rs.17.85 lacs within a period of four weeks from today. In case this amount is not paid within four weeks from today, thereafter the appellant/plaintiff will be entitled to interest @ 18% per annum simple.
