At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioner states that the appeal dated 26.04.2018 preferred by the petitioner against the order dated 20.04.2018 passed by the respondents removing him from service, has not been decided so far.

Learned counsel for the respondents assures the Court that an order shall be passed on the said appeal expeditiously. 3.

Accordingly, without going into the merits of the case, the present petition is disposed of with a direction issued to the respondents to examine and decide the pending appeal dated 26.04.2018, filed by the petitioner within four weeks from today, under written intimation to him.
