% 20.01.2016 CM APPL. 1999/2016 (release of amount) Heard.

On the claim petition of the applicant registered as MACT case no.76/2010 (2008), compensation in the sum of Rs.1,02,956/- with interest @ 9% per annum was granted by judgment dated 18.05.2012 of the tribunal. The appeal taken out by the insurance company vide MAC APP. No.1064/2012 was disposed of by judgment dated 09.12.2015 partly modifying the award. In terms of the interim order dated 24.09.2012, the amount awarded by the tribunal with up-to-date interest excluding counsels fee and out of pocket expenses was directed to be deposited with Registrar General of this court in the name of the claimant, with further direction that the said deposit be held in fixed deposit in UCO Bank, Delhi High Court branch for a period of six months to be renewed from time to time. The claimant is entitled to release of the amount in terms of the impugned

judgment/award, as modified by this court vide judgment dated 09.12.2015. Deposited amount shall be released in accordance with the directions in the impugned judgment/award as modified by this court. Application is disposed of with these directions. R.K.GAUBA, J JANUARY 20, 2016/ssc
