% 22.08.2017 Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner has been granted seniority w.e.f. October, 2013 and to this extent the writ petition is rendered infructuous. He submits that the petitioner now expects the respondents would grant consequential benefit to the petitioner. Learned counsel for the respondents states that back wages would not be granted to the petitioner. Learned counsel for the petitioner has clarified that the petitioner is not seeking back wages. However, consequential benefits can be granted to the petitioner.

We hope and trust that the respondents would expeditiously pass an order on grant of consequential benefits to the petitioner. In case the petitioner still has any grievance, it is open to the petitioner to make the

representation and in case full and proper benefits are not granted to him, to approach the Court by moving a separate writ petition. In view of the aforesaid observation, writ petition stands disposed of. SANJIV KHANNA, J NAVIN CHAWLA, J AUGUST 22, 2017/vp
