% 30.05.2016 Present writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to implement CIC order dated 27th January, 2016 in its true letter and spirit.
Learned counsel for petitioner states that CIC vide its order dated 27th January, 2016 had directed the respondent to provide complete and categorical information to the petitioner as per her RTI application dated 4th March, 2015. Learned counsel for petitioner states that vide reply dated 30th March, 2016 respondent has provided incomplete information.
In the opinion of this Court, a writ court is not an executing court of the orders passed by CIC. In the event of alleged noncompliance of the orders passed by CIC, penalties have been prescribed under Section 20 of the Right to Information Act, 2005 (hereinafter referred to as 'RTI Act').
Consequently, the present writ petition and the application are dismissed with liberty to the petitioner to avail remedies under the RTI Act in accordance with the law.
