% 28.07.2016 By this petition, the petitioner seeks quashing of FIR No.227/2011 under Sections 308/323/394/34 IPC registered at PS Burari. Before learned Trial Court, charge for offences punishable under Section 308/394/323/34 IPC has already been framed against the petitioners.

Consequently, even if the parties have settled the matter, in view of the allegation of serious offences, the FIR cannot be quashed as per the decision of Supreme Court reported as 2012 (9) Scale 257: 2012 (10) SCC 303 Gian Singh Vs. State of Punjab & Anr.

Petition and application are dismissed.
