W.P.(C) 2866/2017 Petitioner is aggrieved by certain illegal and unauthorized construction which as per him is being carried out in property bearing No.C-11, Shaheen Bagh, Abul Fazal Enclave, Part-II, near Tayyab Masjid Road, Jamia Nagar, New Delhi. It is stated that this is against all the bye-laws of the Corporation.

On advance notice, learned counsel for respondent no.1 and 2

has put in appearance. Local police (respondent no.4) is also represented. Learned counsel appearing for respondent nos.1 and 2 under instructions states that this property was booked on two dates i.e. on 23.01.2017 and again on 15.3.2017 for the illegal deviations which were noted in the property. A show cause notice has been issued on 21.02.2017. Work stop notice has been issued on 06.02.2017 followed by another notice dated 28.02.2017 and again on 27.3.2017. It is stated that the communications have been addressed for disconnection of electricity and water supply also to the concerned departments. A demolition order has been passed qua the illegal structure. Demolition programme has in fact been fixed for 24.4.2017. This statement of learned counsel appearing for respondent nos.1 and 2 is taken on record. It is hoped and expected that it is honoured in true letter and spirit. Assistance of local police shall be obtained as and when desired.

No further orders are called for in this petition. Petition disposed of.
