Ms. Arunima Dwivedi, learned counsel for the appellant/NCTE and Mr. Sharawat, learned counsel for the respondents in all the connected matters state in unison that vide order dated 20.10.2015, passed in the connected appeal (LPA 712/2008) entitled NCTE vs. Keshav College of Education, it had been submitted by the counsel for the appellant that in view of the subsequent events resulting in issuance of a new set of Guidelines, nothing survived for adjudication on merits in the said appeal. As a result, the Division Bench had dismissed the aforesaid appeal as infructuous.

Learned counsel state that due to bona fide inadvertence, a similar submission was not made in the connected appeals that are listed today. They request that these appeals may also be disposed of as nothing survives for adjudication in view of the issuance of the NCTE Regulations, 2014 by the appellant/NCT.
