% 08.12.2016 Counsel for the Dental Council of India states that he has obtained instructions in terms of the order dated 20th October, 2016 and would like to make the following statement:- (i) Experience as Assistant Professor in dental colleges is counted and taken into consideration for promotion to the post of Associate Professor in dental colleges.
(ii) As per the Dental Council Regulations, there is no post of Professor in the medical faculty.
We take the statement on record.
Counsel for the petitioner states that in view of the statement made, he would not press the present writ petition. He states that in case of any individual grievance, the concerned person would be entitled to raise his grievance individually.
The writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn in terms of the statement made.
