Challenge in the writ petition is to a movement order dated May 17, 2016 transferring the petitioner to the 66th Battalion, BSF, stationed in West Bengal.

The petitioner is due to superannuate from service on January 31, 2017. The petitioner is currently attached with 25th Btn., BSF stationed at Delhi.

Learned counsel for the respondents informed that in supersession of the transfer order challenged in the writ petition, the petitioner has been attached by way of transfer with the Frontier Head Quarters at Noida. 4.

Being in the NCR region and proximate to the Union Territory of Delhi we dispose of the writ petition as infructuous noting facts aforenoted. W.P.(C) 4916/2016

The petitioner is on leave till July 14, 2016. Necessary codal formalities be completed so that the petitioner can be relieved from the Commandant of 25th Battalion, BSF and can be posted to the Frontier Head Quarters at Noida.
